‘Visionary Photography’ with this tagline Huawei Launched their new flagship P40 smartphone series. The Huawei P40 series smartphones were to be announced at a Kinot conference in Paris.

But due to the coronavirus, Huawei canceled the event and released their 2020 flagship phones at the online virtual event. The online launch event will be broadcast live on YouTube on Thursday, March 26th By Huawei.

Huawei is currently the second largest smartphone maker in the world. Due to legal issues with the US government, Huawei is no longer able to use Google’s services and Play Store on their Android devices. Despite the risk of an app crisis on Android phones without the Play Store, Huawei is making great phones, as the P40 series proved once again.

Huawei has unveiled a total of 3 flagship smartphones in that online event on March 26th. Huawei claims that these will offer the best photography details and zoom in the market. One is the Huawei P40 and the other two are the Huawei P40 Pro and Pro Plus. Let’s get acquainted with the phones.

Huawei P40

The Huawei P40 has a 6.1-inch LED display (1080P + resolution, 422 ppi, 60 Hz refresh rate). At the top left of the screen is a 32 megapixel dual lens selfie camera.

The back of the phone has a three-lens camera setup: a 50-megapixel ‘Ultravision Camera’, with an 8-megapixel telephoto lens and a 16-megapixel ultraviolet angle sensor.

Huawei P40 will get 8 GB RAM, with 128/256 GB storage variation. The device is powered by a 3600 mAh battery. The phone will use Huawei’s Kirin 990 processor. Comes with under-display fingerprint sensor.

Huawei P40 Pro

For 2020, Huawei’s flagship smartphone, the P40 Pro, will come with a 6.56-inch screen (90 Hz, 1200 x 2640 p, 441 ppi).

This phone has a 32 megapixel dual selfie camera at the top left of the screen.

The back of the phone has a 4 lens-rich camera setup: a 50-megapixel ‘ultravision camera’, a 40-megapixel ultraviolet angle sensor, a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor and a depth sensor.

The Huawei P40 Pro will get 8 GB RAM, with 128/256 GB storage variation. The device is powered by a 4200 mAh battery. The phone will use Huawei’s Kirin 990 processor. Comes with under-display fingerprint sensor.

Huawei P40 Pro +

If you want the best phone in the Huawei P40 series, then the P40 + is for you. It has RAM, storage, processor and battery all like P40 Pro version. However, this model has been given special importance in screen and camera.

The Huawei P40 Pro + device has a 6.8-inch LED screen (90 Hz, 1440 x 3160 p, 518 ppi). The phone has a 32 megapixel dual selfie camera at the top left of the screen. Comes with under-display fingerprint sensor.

The rear of the P40 Pro + phone has a 5 lens-rich camera setup: a 50-megapixel ‘ultravision camera’, a 40-megapixel ultrawide angle sensor, two 8-megapixel telephoto sensors and a depth sensor.

Huawei P40 Series: Price and start date of sale

All 3 phones of Huawei P40 series will run on Android 10 operating system. Comes with Huawei EMUI 10.1 interface. It will not have any Google service installed.
