Late Saturday night, Arvind Kejriwal’s Delhi government issued new guidelines banning all social, political, sports, entertainment, cultural and religious gatherings until further notice. Under the new guidelines issued by the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), all cinemas, theaters and multiplexes will be allowed to open up to 50 per cent of their seats.
The guidelines also state that Delhi’s swimming pools will remain closed. The Delhi Metro and DTC and cluster buses will carry 50 per cent passengers. Colleges and coaching institutes should be closed. 50 percent must be invited to the wedding.
On the other hand, no more than 5 people can enter a religious place in Uttar Pradesh. The office has to work with 50 percent. In Madhya Pradesh, lockdown has been issued in 11 districts over the weekend. Night curfew has been imposed for 10 days in 6 cities of Karnataka. Section 144 will run from 10 pm to 5 am.
