The 4th generation mobile communication network 4G has been launched in Bangladesh, ending all waiting. Mobile operators Grameenphone, Robi and Banglalink have launched Forge service on a commercial basis for the first time in the country on Monday, February 19, 2018 at 8 pm.
GP had earlier announced the launch of 4G network within 15 minutes of officially getting the license to launch Forge. After getting license on Monday evening, Forge service started to be provided in several cities including Dhaka and Chittagong Has done Grameenphone, Robi (including Airtel) and Banglalink. The companies said that this coverage will increase rapidly.
State-owned Teletalk has not yet launched Forge. It was not immediately clear when they would be able to launch 4G.

High speed internet service is available on 4G network so it can stream HD video, online TV, fast file download / upload and browsing. Mobile operators may soon announce new tariffs, even though the cost of Forge service is similar to 3G at the beginning.
