On April 2 this year, a maximum of 42 lakh 75 thousand 156 people were vaccinated in one day. That record was broken on Monday. According to the official Queen website, 80 lakh 95 thousand 314 people were vaccinated till 8 pm on Monday. Narendra Modi wrote on Twitter, “Today’s figures are proud. Vaccination is a powerful tool in the fight against Covid-19. Vaccinators and front row Covid fighters have worked hard to ensure vaccination. Cornish India! ”

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced. As of today, people over the age of 18 across the country are getting free Covid vaccine from Monday. The Prime Minister (Narendra Modi) said on Twitter this morning, “The world’s largest free vaccination campaign is starting. All citizens of the country will receive the vaccine. This decision will benefit the poor, middle class and youth of the country. Together we will defeat Corona. ”

The central government is buying 75 per cent of the vaccines, including 25 per cent of the state allocation. The remaining 25 percent is for private hospitals. They have to buy the vaccine at the fixed price. The Center said on Sunday that it had more than 3.06 crore vaccine doses in stock. In the next 3 days, 24 lakh 53 thousand 40 doses will be given to the states.
