The number of victims in Howrah, Hooghly and South 24 Parganas is 82, 80 and 6 respectively. At present, 19,260 people are actively infected in the state.
In the last 24 hours, 21 people have died in Covid (COVID Death in West Bengal). Yesterday the number was 23. Not a single death was reported in 15 districts due to Covid Death. The death toll in Kolkata and North 24 Parganas is 5 and 6 respectively. One died in South 24 Parganas. The death toll in Howrah is 2. In the last 24 hours, 1,619 people have become coronavirus free in the state. The recovery rate so far is 98.54%.
Vaccination has gained momentum on Saturday. 3 lakh 6 thousand 650 people got vaccinated. 1 lakh 17 thousand 60 people have taken the first dose of ticker. 1 lakh 90 thousand 690 people got the second dose. So far 2 crore 21 lakh 46 thousand 130 people have been vaccinated.
