In a new assessment of the US vaccination effort, Jeff Giants, the co-ordinator for CoVID-19, said the federal government expects those aged 26 and over to receive at least one vaccine by July 4, which he called a “great success.” “The germs have now been defeated,” the giants said, and the country is returning to normal. “We are entering a happy summer, a summer of liberation,” he said. He said efforts were being made to vaccinate young people aged 18-26.
However, many young people are not showing much interest in getting vaccinated, especially in a country where the number of coronavirus infections and deaths has dropped dramatically in recent weeks, and many businesses have opened without the need to wear face masks or maintain physical distance. “Our efforts are not ending on July 4,” the Giants said.
