The world of technology, of course, is being discussed and criticized all over the world about the security of information on Facebook. Cambridge Analytica, a British political consultancy that helped campaign for US President Donald Trump during the election campaign, has been accused of misusing Facebook information.

Cambridge Analytica has been influencing the people of the country in the run-up to the US presidential election by collecting personal confidential information from users of the site, taking advantage of Facebook’s weak security measures.

After the Cambridge Analytica incident was published, everyone around the world started pointing fingers at Facebook. Facebook’s share price also fell sharply Goes. At one point, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted his weakness / failure / responsibility Does.

And now Facebook has a new initiative Taken Through which users can find out whether their confidential personal information has been leaked to any other party from Facebook.

From Monday, April 9, 2018, all Facebook users on their respective Facebook homepage (Newsfeed) A new link Where you can find out whose information has been leaked from Facebook. A total of 2.2 billion Facebook users will see a notice on their Facebook feed where the first word will be ‘Protecting Your Information’. There will be a link / button after some initial conversation where you have to click to go to another page. There you can see which apps you use through Facebook and what information you have shared with those apps. Then you can delete the third-party app from Facebook if you want.

According to Facebook, Cambridge Analytics has leaked the personal information of a total of 76 million users, of which 70 million are Americans. However, in order to reduce the risk of users’ personal information being leaked through other apps from Facebook, everyone should be sure to check the notices in the Facebook feed. The notice will appear on the Facebook homepage of all Facebook users from April 9. So keep an eye out, and try to stay safe!
