Own report: After taking two doses of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine, the risk of infection in the British variant decreased by 70%. Such information was published in Nature magazine. This is being tested across the UK. Samples were collected from about 3 lakh 83 thousand people. Samples were collected from December 1, 2020 to May 8, 2021.

The study was conducted to find out how effective the Vaccine, developed by Pfizer and AstraZeneca, is on new UK strains. It found that the risk of infection decreased by 61% after taking the first dose of Pfizer and by 8% after taking the first dose of AstraZeneca. On the other hand, after the second dose, its probability decreases by about 69% and 80%.

Not only that, but the coronavirus infection after vaccination will reduce the symptoms and viral load, the study published in Nature Medicine claims.
