In Chittagong, a two-day cultural program called ‘Tarunyer Baishakh’ is being organized on 13th and 14th April 2015 to bid farewell to the Bengali old year and welcome the new year. As the beginning of this program, on 12th April, with the Boishakh celebration committee of the youth Branor A bicycle rally called Road to Abhaymitra Ghat was organized under the sponsorship. A bicycle rally was held from Jamiatul Falah to Abayamitra Ghat at 4 pm. More than 200 cyclists wearing Brano’s T-shirts participated in the rally.

The bicycle rally was inaugurated by Chittagong Metropolitan Police Chief Md. Abdul Jalil Mandal. He said in his speech that there is no alternative to cycling for eco-friendly vehicles and good health. He further said that if the body and mind are good, the youth will stay away from getting addicted to drugs. So he called on the youth to increase the use of bicycles.
