The FTC says That is, the app is sending information to advertisers without the knowledge of the user. The most important news is that as soon as this app is launched, it takes the position of the users and then takes the permission of the users! FTC Golden Shores (App developer) has criticized its privacy policy. The company says it did not mention GoldenShores, which is taking users’ position. FTC also said that this is a “meaningless” app!
FTC Director Jessica Rich says, “While this app is supposed to show them light, it is also taking them into darkness using their information.”
The company has apologized in a deal signed by Golden Shores. They also said that they will soon create a new privacy policy, which will inform users about all information. They will delete the users’ location collection feature with an update of this app. They also told FTC to remove the information they had previously taken.
