Google Photos’ shared album feature is becoming more and more popular. With that in mind, Google added the benefits of messaging to the Google Photos app. From now on, photos can be sent privately using Google Photos’ Android and iOS apps or websites. This new messaging feature can be seen in the share menu of the phone.

From now on, sharing photos with Google Photos will not require creating an album like before. From now on, just like we share photos with our friends on other social media, photos can be sent through Google Photos.

Besides sending pictures, you can also chat, like and share photos. In other words, the whole process will be completed centering on the picture. Thus, there is a possibility that Google Photos will be transformed into a new social platform.

Since the addition of free online storage to Google Photos in 2015, the platform has been gaining popularity among photographers and other users for photo sharing. For those who love to take photos on smartphones, after adding this feature, Google Photos becomes a means of storing great photos of private moments.

Google Photos, Google’s 9th product, crossed the 1 billion user milestone earlier this year. Pictures can be shared on almost all social media, but users cannot share high-quality versions with friends. Users will get the benefit of high-quality photo sharing by adding photo sharing and messaging options to Google Photos.

Janvi Shah, Google’s product manager, said in a blog post, “This feature is not intended to replace any chatting app, but our goal is to share photos of our private moments with friends and family.”
