If you are a regular visitor of Fulcrumy.com, you may remember, in January 2014. In one report we reported, Teens are losing interest in Facebook. That is why there was anxiety among the investors of Facebook. And now, at the end of 2014, Bloomberg Business Week Reporting, 13-18 year old (teenager) users are constantly leaving Facebook.

According to a 2014 survey, 8% of all adolescents currently use social networks in the United States. Facebook Which was 94% in 2013 and 95% in 2012.

Although the rate of decline is very low for Facebook, the concern is that the number of users of Facebook’s competitors is increasing. For example, in the case of Twitter, the percentage of teenagers using the total social network in America was 46% in 2013 and increased to 46% in 2014.

One of the reasons for the decline in Facebook’s popularity is its lack of security and reliability. Again, many people think that Facebook is not so enjoyable now. Instead they are using Instagram, Snapchat, WhatsApp etc.

Another study found that teens leaving Facebook was more likely to be caused by over-sharing and a lack of privacy. Some Facebookers post pictures of their girlfriends / boyfriends, giving status to trivial matters – which teenagers don’t like.
