AIIMS says their death toll is higher than 50

Own report: Those who have not crossed fifty are more likely to die in Kovid. Such information was given by All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. Researchers there recently conducted a survey. So it is seen that 3 lakh 96 thousand 738 people have died due to Kovid. The largest number are those under the age of 50.

The study was published in the Indian Journal of Critical Care Medicine. The study was conducted on adults who were hospitalized with coronary heart disease between April 4 and July 24. The study was conducted to find out the cause of death.

654 people were admitted to the hospital during the survey. Everyone is admitted to the ICU. Of which 246 people died. That means the death rate is 36.6%. Among them were patients aged 18 to 50 and 51 to 65 years. Between the ages of 18 and 50, 42.1 percent of them died. The leading causes of death are hypertension, diabetes, and chronic kidney problems. Besides, there was cough and fever.

Incidentally, 48 children were admitted to the hospital at that time. 6 of them have died. In other words, based on those statistics, the infant mortality rate is 13 percent.
