A specific model of USB sold in the European market between October 2009 and September 2012 IPhone Apple is replacing the charger for free. These 1300 models have ‘CE’ written on these adapters which were sold in a total of 36 countries. These are provided with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPhone 4S. The company also said that some defective iPhone chargers have been sold in the retail market.
This is not the first time Apple has replaced a faulty charger. Earlier in 2006, the company replaced the iPhone 3G charger in the United States, Canada, Japan and several countries in Latin America. Apple has also replaced a number of fake iPhone chargers in China for security reasons.
