When tech giant Apple released the iPhone 10, the most talked about item was the notch at the top of the display. Most of the people I have met are really annoyed with this notch. One of them has stopped using iPhone and bought Google Pixel 2. My guess is that Apple itself has figured it out. At least one of the company’s new patent applications indicates that.

Seen in a patent document from Apple recently released by the U.S. Intellectual Property Office Going, IPhone makers are now working on a smartphone with an LED display so that the sensors do not need any grooves or extra space.

The special feature of this display is that it can show graphics all over the screen. It will take up very little space for sensors on the top, which will not be visible to the naked eye. Or, the sensors will be attached to the screen.

In general, Apple itself is not very satisfied with the middle groove at the top of the iPhone 10 screen.
