Samsung Electronics Saying Their profit for the last three months was ৮৭ 4.6 billion, much lower than last year. While this amount of profit is higher than many companies, it is quite low for a company like Samsung.

Sales of the Galaxy Note 4 have been good, but sales of the Galaxy S5 have not been as expected. The company’s total phone sales have dropped by about 21% in the last one year.

Samsung says it will come up with new materials, designs and features to compete in markets like China and India in the coming days.

The success of Chinese smartphone company Shaomi has overtaken Samsung. On the other hand, Apple’s record-breaking profits have also worried Samsung. Low-cost, high-configuration sets like the Xiaomi have dampened Samsung’s demand. So 2015 is going to be a difficult year for expensive Samsung Android phones.
