Argon, a surgeon at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in England, signs a patient’s liver using a plasma coagulation tool. Another doctor later discovered the scar when he went to perform another surgery on the same patient. The brand surgeon is being investigated and has been suspended pending a report.
It is suspected that the surgeon may have similarly ‘signed’ his other patients.
However, doctors say that the patient has no reason to worry about the signature, as they do not see any possibility of harm. It will look like a light scar.
However, this is not the first such incident. Earlier, another doctor wrote the patient’s name on a woman’s removed uterus Gave. Another surgeon has his own sign in the lower abdomen after a C-section operation on his patient Give. Both of them later faced legal troubles.
