Big 5 changes are coming to Facebook

Since its inception, Facebook has undergone numerous small and big changes. It has already been proven that Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg wants to turn Facebook into a multifaceted platform. With one new product launch after another and hardware manufacturing companies buying, Facebook is now not just a social media site, but a classic tech giant.

Recently Mark Zuckerberg has one on his Facebook profile In a blog post (Actually Facebook Notes!) Gives some information about some future plans of Facebook. Here are five key changes to Facebook’s plan:

1. Messaging is the future!

So will Facebook be like WhatsApp? No, that’s not the case. In fact, according to Zuckerberg, emphasizing messaging means emphasizing individual or private interactions. Once upon a time, Facebook meant writing something in the timeline and sharing it with friends. But gradually the personal interactions of the people are increasing as a result of the introduction of different groups, fundraisers, buying and selling services etc. And that’s why Facebook will focus on one-to-one communication in the future.

2. Total encryption

We’ve seen the encryption feature on WhatsApp a long time ago. According to Zuckerberg, encryption is important to prevent hackers, governments of different countries, and even Facebook authorities from accessing people’s personal data freely. And that’s why Facebook will soon bring all of their messaging services under end-to-end encryption.

3. Auto-expiring post

You may have seen a feature called Self Destroying Message or Auto-Expiring Post in some messaging services. This feature allows you to set a time in a post or message, after which it is automatically deleted or hidden. This is a very useful feature when it comes to interacting with strangers or lesser known people.

Already Messenger The option to delete messages from both sides has been introduced. From the information in that post of Zuckerberg, it is thought that Facebook will introduce auto-expiring feature for all types of posts in the future.

However, there are some people who prefer to be nostalgic after seeing old pictures or posts. Maybe considering them, after a certain period of time, the picture will be hidden from others, only the benefit of being able to see for yourself may come.

4. Integrate mobile apps

We know that Facebook, as well as WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram are all services owned by Facebook. Some people feel comfortable on WhatsApp and some people on Messenger.

So you have to have multiple apps installed on the phone to communicate with everyone. It is also a hassle to check the notifications of multiple apps separately. However, in the near future, Facebook will make arrangements so that their apps can work on each other.

This means that if you advertise a sale on Facebook, the interested buyer may be able to send a message directly to your WhatsApp without knowing your number. Again, if you give a story on Instagram, maybe Facebook friends will be able to reply to it on Messenger.

5. Privacy of users’ personal data

It is a well-known fact that at different times, Facebook has received numerous requests from the governments of different countries for the personal data of users. However, Zuckerberg said in his post that they would do more for people’s right to information. Even in countries where governments do not protect people’s personal data, he will never build a Facebook data center.

However, these future plans of Facebook are still in the early stages. There is no reason to think that these changes will come now. Mark Zuckerberg said there would be a lot of discussion and thought before implementing these plans.

What do you think about these changes on Facebook?
