Birth registration correction

There is a website titled “Application for Correction of Birth Information” to revise the birth registration. To access the birth registration correction’s website Click here Please. After entering the birth registration correction website you will see two empty boxes.

Provide the birth registration number in the birth certificate in the first box and the date of birth in the birth certificate in the second box. You will see information about the birth certificate on the server to provide the correct birth registration number and date of birth.

Terms and conditions for correcting birth information

If the information in the birth certificate is incorrect, the birth certificate needs to be corrected. Some terms and conditions apply to the correction of birth information. E.g.

• If it is necessary to correct the name of the father or mother, then if the father or mother has the birth registration number, they must first correct their name by applying for the correction of birth registration information with their birth registration number.
• If the parent does not have a birth registration number and the date of birth is before 01/01/2000, the name of your father or mother can be corrected while applying for the birth registration information correction. In that case, even if the father or mother is dead, they do not have to submit any proof of death
• If the parent does not have a birth registration number and the parent is dead and the date of birth is after 01/01/200, then the name of the parent can be corrected while applying for the correction of birth registration information. In that case death certificate of father or mother has to be submitted.
