However, some children have recently contracted mucorrhoea. The first child to be infected with Black Fungus in India was found in Gujarat. A 13-year-old man has this disease. An 11-year-old girl and a 14-year-old boy were later diagnosed with mucormycosis in Ballari and Chitradurga in Karnataka. However, the two children were already suffering from acute juvenile diabetes, the report said.
