BTRC has set a minimum call rate of 45 paise for mobile phones

The BTRC has directed that the minimum call rate of all mobile phone operators in Bangladesh be fixed at 45 paisa per minute with effect from 12:01 pm on Monday. In other words, this new call rate will be effective from the first noon of 14 August 2018. In this new tariff policy, BTRC sets a maximum call rate of Tk 2 for all mobiles in the country Gave.

According to this directive of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, there is no separate tariff from one operator to another. Instead, a minimum rate of 45 paisa / min and a maximum rate of 2 taka / min will be available on all operators’ mobiles.
