Recently Facebook is going to start a pilot activity. And that is that they will not show the total number of likes or reactions in any post. Users will not only see the total number of likes on their own post, but also on other people.

They have already started this service experimentally on Instagram. Currently, users from a total of 6 countries, including Canada and Brazil, have become part of this new feature. In their case, the total number of likes of Instagram post has been kept hidden.

They will only see the names of some people among the mutual friends among all the people who have liked in a post, where the names of all the people who liked before could be seen.

Reverse engineering master Jane Wong has already seen Facebook testing a prototype of the “Hidden Like Count” feature in their app. When popular tech news portal TechCrunch asked Facebook authorities about this, they said that Facebook is actually thinking about deleting the total number of likes.

However, they have not yet released the results of the test to remove Instagram’s Like Count. So it is not yet known how effective it is to remove likes on Instagram.

However, many people have applauded the removal of this Like Count from Facebook. Social media addiction is one of the biggest problems in the world today. Who gets how many likes or who has how many followers is one of the topics of competition in today’s world.

Various studies have shown that people are in a sick competition to get this like-comment from Facebook or Instagram. Even if you don’t like the expected comment in your own picture, many people get frustrated with it. As a result, the risk of mental health of the people is increasing.

And so if Facebook really launches this feature then maybe some of these problems can be remedied.
