China claims to have built the “world’s largest” building. It is 20 times bigger than the Sydney Opera House. One of the CBS News Report Named the “New Century Global Center”, the building was inaugurated on June 26 in southwest China’s Sichuan Province.

The New Century Global Center is approximately 1840 feet long, 1312 feet wide, and 326 feet high. Its total floor area is 2.1 million square feet, which is enough to accommodate a 14-screen movie theater, office, a water park rich in artificial beaches and a huge skating rink.

The building took 3 years to build and is 3 times larger in size than the Pentagon in the United States. It also has an artificial sun that provides light and heat!
