Samsung’s video discovery service Milk Video is shutting down. This was a video finding app for Samsung Galaxy smartphone users.
The Korean company has announced that it will stop supporting the Milk Video app from November 20. Samsung Milk Video App On the Google Play page Has made this announcement.
Samsung introduced this feature in November 2014. Milk Video does not run ads like YouTube, which means it does not generate any financial revenue, but instead spends money on content providers for good videos so that customers do not lose interest in it.
But in the age of YouTube, Vimeo, Netflix, it is really difficult to survive by bringing any new type of video service to the market. On top of that Milk Video was only available for Samsung’s Galaxy phones. So the limitations remain there as well.
