Microsoft’s most talked about and recently acclaimed digital assistant app ‘Cortana’ is now going to be added to the company’s office software. ‘Work assistant’ An app called Prototype is currently available that can open, edit and share office documents via voice commands using Cortana.
According to various sources, Microsoft’s goal is to integrate Cortana with the mobile and desktop versions of the office suite.
If so, Cortana will reach beyond Windows and reach iOS and Android. Since there is a Microsoft Office suite for Mac as well, it should come as no surprise that Microsoft’s Virtual Assistant has moved to Apple’s computer.
