The number of victims in Howrah, Hooghly and South 24 Parganas is 115, 189 and 110 respectively. At present, 22,307 people are active in the state.

In the last 24 hours, 41 people have died in COVID (West Bengal). Yesterday the number was 36. The death toll in Kolkata and North 24 Parganas is 8 and 9, respectively. 3 people died in South 24 Parganas. The death toll in Howrah and Hughli was 3 and 4 respectively. In the last 24 hours, 1,952 people have become coronavirus free in the state. The recovery rate so far is 98.33%.

On vaccination, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday said, “We have decided to increase the vaccine from 3 lakh to 4 lakh per day. I have given a dose of 2 crore vaccines in Bengal. 33 lakh doses have been given to super spreaders. I will further reduce the infection in the next 10 days.
