Facebook recently discovered a bug that could have been used by hackers to delete photos uploaded to anyone’s Facebook profile. A blogger named Laxman Muthia has exposed this fatal error of Facebook.
He was able to delete another Facebook’s photo using a special code only with the ID number of the photo on Facebook. This can happen without the real uploader of the image.
This was made possible by an error in Facebook’s Graph API system. As soon as he discovered the bug, he informed the Facebook authorities.
If you can catch a bug, Facebook rewards the identifier. And in this case too he was no exception. Eight bloggers named Laxman Muthia living in India were awarded ১২ 12,500 Gave Facebook authorities.
