When chatting on Facebook Messenger, many times when you reply to a message, another message comes down. Then it becomes a little difficult to reply to a specific message. For example, on a holiday morning, when you are sleeping, your friend asks you on messenger, “Have you had breakfast, friend?” Writing this line, he said again in the next line, “Or shall I bring a parota for you?”

Notice the example above, if the answer in the first line is “no” then the answer in the next line is likely to be “yes”. Here a different answer is required for each different message line. It has not been possible for so long. Now it will be possible to reply by quoting through the message reply feature.

How do I reply to messenger?

If you want to use this reply feature when chatting on Messenger, you need to open a chat conversation.

Then press and hold the message you want to reply to.

This time the message reaction will come. You will see an arrow on the right side of those reaction emojis.

When you press this arrow, instead of typing a message in Messenger, the text “Replying” will appear. Then you can write something as a reply to the message held with that pressure.

You can even “reply” to your own sent message by using this reply feature – that is, you can add some extra message to the sent message.

This feature is also available in the Facebook web version

You can also use this feature in the web version of Facebook Messages. On PC Facebook While using the message, open any message or chat window and hold / click the mouse on any message you have sent.

Then you will see three dot marks next to that particular message. If you click on that dot mark, you will get reply option. Click Reply, write a message and send.

Bonus:

This feature has been experimentally available on many accounts for quite some time. Now with Messenger update, the feature will come to everyone’s messenger.
