
China Business Journal According to the report, last March 15 Apple Foxconn returned 5 million faulty iPhones. And according to sources familiar with the Chinese company, Foxconn currently has 6 million units of iPhones waiting to be repaired.
It would cost Foxconn about ৬ 256.7 million to fix these. This includes workers’ extra wages and the cost of replacing parts. That amounts to two-thirds of the 2012 Foxconn Integrated Digital Products Business Group’s earnings profit.
Sources said that the company has faced similar situation before due to quality control issues.
