This feature will work on applications running in the background – especially in the context of background service and when using location services. This change has led developers to create applications that increase phone performance and reduce battery life.

Notifications

In the Android O version, the user can arbitrarily manage what kind of notifications will come from which app. For example, if you want, you can keep the mansion notifications on Facebook and turn off the comment notifications. It will be convenient to control all types of notifications in one application at once.

Autofill API

This allows users to select the Password Manager app to enter the ID-password when logging in to different applications, just as users can now choose the default keyboard. This password manager app will then enter your username-password for that app.

Adaptive icons

Developers will be able to create adaptive icons that will be displayed the way the system wants them to be displayed. So, it will work in different interfaces on all phones. New icons can be animated which will be more lively. This feature allows you to change application icons with different launcher apps and themes.

Bluetooth audio

Android O supports high quality Bluetooth audio codecs, including Sony’s LDAC codecs.
