chromebook pixel ....Internet giant Google has announced the launch of its first touchscreen laptop, the Chromebook Pixel. This computer powered by Chrome operating system will use Intel Ivy Bridge processor. In addition to its Forge LTE network support, Google expects the high-resolution screen laptop to compete directly with the Apple Retina Display-enabled MacBook Air.

According to some analysts, Google’s move has opened the door for them to compete with Windows operating system dependent machines.

The main difference between Chrome OS based devices and computers with software installed in the current market is that applications are run through the company’s web browser and files are stored in the cloud.

Google says it has built most of the device with a combination of globally manufactured components.

The Chromebook Pixel has a 12.75-inch screen with a resolution that promises to show better images than the retina display used in the Apple MacBook. It is designed so that the human eye cannot identify a single pixel by looking at the screen from a normal distance. The new Chromebook’s display will deliver a 3: 2 resolution higher than the commonly used laptop screen, measuring 2560×1600 (239 pixels per inch), the highest pixel density screen available at the moment. On the other hand, the pixel density of the 13-inch MacBook Pro Retina display is 226 ppi.

This version of Chromebook with maximum amount of pixels will give you clear and vibrant graphics experience. Google hopes that its use will be more enjoyable with the touch feature. The Chromebook Pixel will have 32 and 64 GB solid state drives. As well as 1 terabyte of Google Drive space will be available for three years. Its expected battery backup is 5 hours.

Prices for the Chromebook Pixel start at ১২ 1299 (WiFi only version). It will cost ৪ 1449 to buy the Forge LTE ready version.

The first Chrome OS powered laptop came on the market in 2011. But so far it has not been able to compete with computers running Windows and Mac.
