Motorola offices in the United States, China and India are considering the latest manpower reduction plan, according to an email from Google.
Google says the move is aimed at restructuring Motorola’s mobile business. One of the key factors behind the acquisition was the company owning the Android device and owning 1800+ patents.
An internal email from Google, published in the Wall Street Journal, shows that the search firm has to adopt these strategies in order to survive in the market due to its high cost.
Meanwhile, according to a recent comment from a senior Google official, it is unlikely that any Ahamri product will suddenly arrive from Motorola.
So what’s going to happen with Motorola Mobility? What do you think?
