Grameenphone, the largest mobile phone operator in Bangladesh, in collaboration with BRAC, will provide 2.1 million hours of free internet access to school children. This activity is from Monday to commemorate the International Mother Language Day on 21st February Has started.
Grameenphone Board Chairman Sigve Breke announced the launch of the program at a function at Dhanmondi Ali Hossain Girls’ High School in Dhaka.
Grameenphone Under the ‘Internet for All’ initiative, students in 250 schools across the country will have access to 2.1 million hours of free internet. This internet can be used in the mass center of multipurpose social learning center run by BRAC. These ‘mass centers’ are located on the respective school premises of the students.
