Grameenphone launches ‘Emergency Balance’

Emergency-Balance-GPThe largest mobile phone operator in Bangladesh Grameenphone New facility “Emergency Balance” Launched. Under this feature, all prepaid customers under the network will be able to take credit with a validity of 30 days when there is insufficient or zero balance. It has been launched since September 02, 2013.

> Emergency balance feature only Grameenphone Applicable for prepaid customers

> All Grameenphone prepaid customers (Easy, Friend, Friend, Smile, Spondon, Business Solutions Prepaid (1,2,3, Success), Ekta (1,2), Nishchinto, Djuice) can take Emergency Balance when their account balance is zero or There will not be enough money in the account

> Grameenphone This feature will replace the current Emergency Balance feature of the Ekta package

> Under this feature, all Grameenphone prepaid customers will get Emergency Balance of Taka 5 and Star customers will get Emergency Balance of Taka 10.

> Customers need to dial * 121 * 1 * 3 # every time to get emergency balance (free)

> Customers can use this Emergency Balance to send any voice call and SMS (even in case of SMS to port)

> No incoming SMS, monthly subscription fee and internet usage will be deducted from emergency balance

> Purchased minutes (eg 25 paisa offer, bundle offer) and other free bonus offers will be used before Emergency Balance

> ‘My Zone’ customers will be able to enjoy Emergency Balance and ‘My Zone’ discount will be applicable for Emergency Balance

> Roaming usage will not fall under emergency balance

> Emergency balance will be deducted from the recharged amount after the customer’s next recharge.

> Emergency balance can be used at any time of the day and will be valid for 30 days

> Customers will be able to avail the next Emergency Balance only after paying their outstanding amount.

> Customers can check Emergency Balance Amount by dialing * 121 * 1010 * 2 # (Free)

> In case of emergency balance, product tariff and pulse will be applicable

> In order to enjoy the emergency balance, the customer’s account must be valid

> All other tariffs, services, pulses will remain unchanged

> If the account is recharged after taking the emergency balance, no recharge based offer (e.g. Nishchinto Lower Tariff) can be activated with the recharge amount.

> 15% VAT is applicable on all charges
