It is almost impossible to take advantage of an Android smartphone without a Play Store. However, currently due to legal complications Huawei None of Google’s apps, including the Google Play Store, can be built-in on their smartphones. Even Google is not able to give official support to these. So Huawei is looking for an alternative.

A few more Chinese phone makers have teamed up with Huawei to release a few days ago GDSA, Which will come as a common app store. Huawei also has its own app store ‘App Gallery’, although not all of the popular manufacturers are offering their apps. So Huawei will not be able to establish the app gallery as an alternative to the Google Play Store.

But Huawei, the world’s second most popular smartphone maker, has not stopped. According to an article in the XDA Developers Forum, Huawei has created an app called AppSearch which is currently being piloted on their German site. Popular Android apps can be installed on Huawei phones using AppSearch.

For this, first you have to download AppSearch from Huawei’s App Gallery. Then open the app search and you will see the list of popular Android apps. In addition to this app, you can search other Android apps like Play Store. If you select an app from the search results, you will find multiple sources from where you can download the app and install it on your Huawei phone.

Bonus: What is the future of Huawei smartphones?

For legal reasons, Huawei’s AppSearch is not installing any apps directly. However, it will show you the source, from where you can manually download the app and install it on your phone. These sources include Amazon, EpicPure, EpicMirror and Huawei’s own app gallery.

Currently Huawei On the German website AppSearch is available. The idea is that Google is investigating whether this app violates any law. Because a few days ago another app called LZ Play was offering an alternative service to the Play Store on Huawei phones which was eventually shut down because it was not legal.
