Huawei today announced their own OS Harmony at their developer conference. This does not mean that they are giving up using Android.

You already know that Huawei is not bringing Harmony OS for smartphones. Instead, they will use Android-based EMUI for now.

Currently their phones are running EMUI version 9. However, today Huawei announced a new update of EMUI Skin for smartphone users. EMUI version 10 comes with several new features.

It has the much desired Dark Mode. They have also redesigned the default app and user interface.

It is hoped that the EMUI 10 update will be available on supported devices soon. If your phone is listed below, it will get EMUI 10 update.
