Chinese telecom giant Huawei has unveiled its new smartphone Ascend P2 at the Mobile World Congress. The company claims that this Android powered device is the fastest mobile phone in the world. Using Wi-Fi, the handset can connect to the Internet two to three times faster than other smartphones on the market, and the Ascend P2 can download any high-definition movie in a matter of minutes and songs and ebooks in seconds.

Even if it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, it will have Huawei’s “Emotion” user interface enabled. Its 4.6-inch 720p HD display has a pixel density of 315 ppi, which can show sharp images in any environment. The Ascend P2’s screen also features a 75 degree viewing angle, 500 nits (unit of brightness = nit / nit) brightness, scratch resistant Gorilla Glass 2 and low battery performance.
