A human worker has died after being hit by a robot used in the factory of the German automobile manufacturer Volkswagen. A 21-year-old technician was working the robot. At one point, the robot turns on and knocks the man close to the hand with a metal plate. The worker died after sustaining severe injuries to his chest.

But In that accident Volkswagen authorities initially refused to blame the robot. They see it as human error. The company says that this type of robotic and relatively old model robot is made to work in a safety cage or ring. But the person who lost his life in the accident was working next to the robot.

The accident happened last Monday. The carmaker bought the Volkswagen Rob from another company. A technician from the company that built the robot was coming to Volkswagen’s factory to install it. But suddenly the robot catches the technician and picks him up. The man was seriously injured and died. The local law enforcement has started investigation in this regard.

Many have already lost control of the robot. Will this accident increase that fear?
