The British East India Company has long been a ghost. This ghost is not the ghost that will scare you. Here, ghost means ‘opposite of the future’, meaning ‘past’. The present Cox’s Bazar is named after Captain Hiram Cox, an officer of the East India Company. Cox’s Bazar has one of the longest uninterrupted natural sandy beaches in the world, which attracts a large number of domestic and foreign tourists who flock to this tourist area 152 km south of Chittagong city.

I came to Cox’s Bazar on 3rd February to enjoy a wonderful tour. Here I am sharing some experiences of that trip.

One of the leading companies in web app and web design in Bangladesh Zoomshapper Thanks to being a team member, I get a chance to have a pleasure trip every year. This time the destination was Cox’s Bazar. We rented a whole business class bus and left for Cox’s Bazar on the night of 24th February. The next morning everyone in the team checked in at the luxury Seagull Hotel, right next to the beach.

After a short rest, I went out for breakfast. Our whole team will be able to serve breakfast together, we have to walk a long way to get such a restaurant. There is a lot of sand on the roads near the beach for good reason. There is no pair of boots / sneakers to walk well here.

Our main activity started after breakfast. Go to the beach and enjoy the beauty of the sea. There is a football game. Team Jumshapper played football both at sea and on land. I was, of course, in the role of spectator.

There is no substitute for walking on the beach to test the validity of the proverb ‘sand is hotter than the sun’.

Jump in the swimming pool from noon to afternoon. The water in the main pool is quite cold. Next to it is another small circular pool called ‘Jacuzzi’, with a stream of warm water flowing through it.

One of our tasks was to fly a kite in the afternoon on the first day and then watch the sunset. In the evening, after light shopping and tea, everyone returns to the hotel and prepares for the night bar-b-que party.

The bar-b-que had chicken, fish, naan, salad, cold drinks etc. It was just a sample of the tour’s huge food and drink festival.

I fell asleep around 12 o’clock at night, but many of the team went to the sea-beach again at night to sing.

The second day of the tour (February 5) begins with a buffet breakfast. Seagull Hotel Borders are given a coupon per room. Coupon as long as the room is rented. By submitting that coupon, you can have breakfast (unlimited) breakfast in the morning. Dozens of items are offered here, ranging from parota, vegetables, eggs, meat to bread, butter, biryani, desserts, tea, coffee and more. Many people forget to eat lunch after breakfast buffet in the morning.

In the afternoon our destination was Inani Sea-Beach. On the way to Inani, about 30 km south of Cox’s Bazar town, we stopped at Darianagar. There is a wonderful experience called parasailing. Sea view flying in the sky like a kite. One end of a 450-500 feet long rope is tied to a speedboat.

At the other end of the rope, a man with a huge parachute was caught with a belt. Then when the speedboat is started, the parachute goes upwards. The parachute man gets a chance to see the sea from about 500 feet above. Some people even take selfie sticks here!

After floating in the sky for about 5 minutes, the parasailing passenger came back to the ground again.

To get to Inani Beach, we boarded a special type of tourist jeep called ‘Moon Car’. On the way to Inani, there is no way but to be amazed by the light green and blue waters of the sea on the right and the magnificent view of the green hills on the left.

On the way back from Inani we had dinner at Mermaid Beach Resort. There are strange arrangements to stay here. Fancy arrangements for new couples in small huts. The sea can be seen directly while eating the mermaid. Their cooking is good. Coincidentally, our fate was in jeopardy. Later, however, the mermaid authorities tried to soothe the sores with sugar.

We enjoy campfire at Mermaid Beach Resort as well as Khawadawa.

A Mermaid athlete performed a wonderful exercise with fire in both hands. It was 11 o’clock on the way back from the mermaid. Then come to the hotel and see the sea again. As well as beach-music.

On the last day of the tour (February 6) we were scheduled to go to Maheshkhali. Maheshkhali, located 12 km from Cox’s Bazar city, is the only hilly island in Bangladesh.

Where there is fear of tigers, there is night. I felt the proper use of this proverb while going to Maheshkhali. It was supposed to take us 15-16 minutes to reach Maheshkhali by speed boat. But the speed boat stopped for at least 15 minutes due to a fault in the machine. There was no question if it was just settled. When another boat passed by, our boat was swaying in the waves. It’s a scary experience. Good luck that the speed boat had an error before entering the sea!

Leaving Maheshkhali, it seems that this is another world. You will be greeted by rows of dense acacia trees.

From there the whole area can be toured by autorickshaw. Among the places of interest here are temples, hills, salt fields, shuntki mahal etc. We visited many places of interest.

At first it seemed like a deserted island. But in reality Maheshkhali has a very busy and established town. Even so, owning one is still beyond the reach of the average person. To get out of here you have to go to sea which is often scary and risky. Later I came to know that as a result of construction of Badarkhali Bridge, Maheshkhali has been directly connected with the mainland of the country. Travel to Maheshkhali from any part of Bangladesh by road Possible. In Maheshkhali we ate the famous sweet drink.

After returning from Maheshkhali, I ate lunch at the kitchen restaurant in Cox’s Bazar, did some shopping and got ready to go back to the hotel and go to Dhaka. Our bus started its journey to Dhaka at 8 pm. We ate dinner at Four Seasons restaurant on the way. By 6 o’clock in the morning everyone reached Dhaka well. That’s done Zoomshapper Annual travel.

The cost of the entire tour was borne by the founder and CEO of Jumshaper Kawsar Ahmed Brother. I don’t know the language to thank him.
