In India, 60 percent of cases of Black fungus are in 3 states – Fulcrumy Health Tip

Own report: Among the coronavirus infections is the growing black fungus or mucormycosis in the country. There is vision loss, chest pain, shortness of breath. So far, at least 6,748 patients have been found across the country. Eighty percent of them are from only 3 states.

According to the Center, 6,748 people have been infected with Black Fungus in India till May 21. Of these, 2261 are in Gujarat, 2000 in Maharashtra and 910 in Andhra Pradesh. Of the three states in the country, 56.8 percent were infected with black fungus. Union Minister for Chemicals and Fertilizers DV Sadananda Gowda tweeted that an additional 23,60 amphotericin-B vials have been sent to the states and union territories after reviewing the mucorrhoea infection. It is distributed according to the number of patients.

According to experts, black fungus is not as contagious as corona. Many people are infected in India every year. Black fungus infections are more common in corona sufferers this year.
