An online telemedicine service on cancer has been inaugurated at Satkhira CB Hospital with the participation of Indian doctors on World Cancer Day.
The telemedicine service was inaugurated as the chief guest at 12:30 pm on Thursday (February 4) by the Assistant Professor of Surgical Oncology Khulna Medical College Hospital, Satkhira Cancer Care and Welfare Center. Md. Monwar Hossain.
Under the overall management of Satkhira CB Hospital, services are organized at HCG Cancer Treatment Hospital, India. In the inaugural program, the chief guest spoke on the prevalence, risk and prevention of cancer in Bangladesh. District Awami League Secretary for Health and Population Affairs spoke as a special guest. Subrata Ghosh.
On the first day of the inaugural ceremony of telemedicine service related to cancer at Satkhira CB Hospital, the representative of HCG Hospital of India Shatdal Ghosh conducted a free online viewing of patients from 2.30 pm to 5 pm. On 05, 08, 12, 19 and 26 February, free telemedicine services related to cancer will be provided by Indian doctors at Satkhira CB Hospital from 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
