New Delhi: Coronavirus is spreading around the world. In the second wave of the deadly disease, the whole country is in turmoil. In this situation, lockdown is going on in different states to prevent the infection. The second wave has put its paw on the first wave of the corona. In this situation, the administration has taken several steps to prevent the spread of the infection.
In the last five days, children have been showing signs of inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) in various parts of northern India. Hundreds of children are affected by this inflammatory disease. This information was given on Friday by the Indian Academy of Pediatric Intensive Care.
According to the academy, patients with inflammatory syndrome (MIS-C) develop symptoms after being infected with the coronavirus. However, most of them are between the ages of 4 and 16.
Not only that, but the incidence of this disease is very rare in children under six months of age or younger. According to a survey by the Indian Academy of Pediatric Intensive Care, about 26 per cent of children in India are under 14 years of age and about half of them are under five years of age.
Dr. Dhiren Gupta, Senior Covid-19 Specialist and Pediatric Pulmonologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, said, “MIS-C can affect almost all organs including lungs, kidneys and brain in general. There are ten patients with the disease. It affects all organs, including the lungs, kidneys and brain. However, if one has these symptoms at an early stage, then if the patient is treated well in time, he can recover. Last year we had 120 patients, all but one of whom recovered. ”
Symptoms of MIS-C or multi-organ inflammatory disease are:
1. Fever for three to five days
2. Acute abdominal pain
3. Sudden decrease in blood pressure
3. Stomach upset.
Dr Gupta added, “MIS-C spreads first to Punjab, Maharashtra and then to Delhi. This is a very common occurrence that was also seen last time. As physicians, as parents, we need to understand that no matter what kind of fever any child has at the moment, they should always be alert. “If the fever lasts for more than three days and there is any pain or rash on the body, then a doctor’s advice should be sought immediately.”
He added, “MIS-C is hypotensive and requires first aid before blood pressure drops. Those patients are also discharged within seven to ten days and this applies to 90 percent of patients. Ten percent of patients with kidney and liver problems take a while to recover. ”
Dr Gupta further warned that there is a risk of death if the disease is not treated early. This is because any disease that affects the heart, lungs and brain can be fatal.
Red-blue-purple…! It’s hard to find news without ‘color’. Which news is ‘eating’? Is that the last word? Or the real truth is the name ‘news’!
Running after ‘breaking’ and prime time, real journalism is stuck on the wall. Journalists with their hands tied in red eyes and money.
However, we do not believe in adding color to the fourth pillar of democracy. And you can bring him back from the brink of death. Isn’t the ‘fake’ badge going on in the free news across the social wall? In fact, nothing in the world is ‘free’. So, even a penny you give can provide oxygen. Your small donation is also valuable in the interest of independent journalism. Stay tuned.
