Kim Dotcom, the founder of the defunct cloud file sharing service MegaApload, launched a new online storage service called ‘Mega’ in 2013. But now that the New Zealand government has taken control of the mega website, Kim.com is worried about the privacy of the information on the mega. Mr Kim says he can no longer rely on Mega. And so by the end of this year, Mega’s direct competitor is another service launch Do Kim.com.
The new cloud storage service will be completely free and open source. It will provide free unlimited and encrypted cloud storage services to all users. Kim said he would build a donation-based funding model like Wikipedia to cover the cost. He will soon release detailed information in this regard.
I will issue a detailed statement about the status of #Mega next week. Then you can make an educated decision if you still want to use it.

Kim Dotcom claims that a dishonest Chinese investor bought a large stake in Mega Cloud Services Company. The aforementioned Chinese investor could at any time take over Mega, which is known in business terms as ‘Hostile Takeover’. But in the end, the New Zealand government confiscated all of Mega’s shares from that Chinese shareholder – leaving the lion’s share of Mega’s control in the hands of the New Zealand government. And Kim.com is also worried about it.
