As you may remember, Kodak almost went bankrupt in 2012 and the company was trying to survive. And recently the brand announced their partnership with Bullet Group and more Reported Kodak is going to bring new mobile devices (smartphones, tablets) at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in January.

The company says it is bringing phones for users who want to use high quality phones but do not feel comfortable with the increased complexity. The devices will have photography, management and sharing features.

Interestingly, this device will have a remote management feature that allows friends and family members to interact with this phone. Devices will have print and sharing facilities. So it is clear that Kodak is trying to bring the touch of that printed image back into human hands. If implemented properly, it can distinguish itself from other photography-oriented phones.

Since Kodak is not making these phones alone, the Bullet Group has emerged who previously made rough mobiles for construction companies.

During Kodak’s downturn, they occasionally allowed their licenses to be used by other brands. In some cases, the name ‘Kodak’ is synonymous with photography.

Kodak will first bring smartphones then in the last half of 2015 will bring fourth generation handsets, tablets and connected cameras.
