MacBook Air ..

Apple plans to launch a feature in their new OS X operating system version that allows users to login (i.e. unlock) the iPhone to a Mac computer with the iPhone’s fingerprint or Touch ID. The feature will be unveiled at Apple’s WWDC conference next June. At least that’s what macroumors are Writing.

It will do the job of unlocking using Bluetooth just like Apple Watch is unlocked with the help of iPhone, where no separate passcode is required on the watch screen.

This new feature will be quite user-friendly by which you can turn on the computer using your iPhone or iWatch. To provide this feature, Apple will first add a new verification feature to your Mac computer and iPhone settings, and after verifying the password there, you can turn on the lock system on your iPhone. How the feature will work in the final stages may change, but the ability to unlock a Mac computer with the iPhone’s fingerprint sensor will be pretty much the same.

This feature eliminates the need to install separate biometric sensors on Mac computers.
