Microsoft’s newly released tablet operating system ‘Windows An update release of RT 8.1 has been postponed due to an error. Update 22-10-2013: After being offline for about 48 hours, Windows RT 8.1 update is back online again from 22nd October. Microsoft removed the update due to a bug in the software. The company said in a tweet that “Windows RT 8.1 update is available again for free in the Windows Store. Go update your Windows RT and Surface RT devices now! ”
