In collaboration with Norton Antivirus, a clothing company called Betabrand is developing jeans that will block wireless signals. This will prevent hacking attacks through radio frequencies. The NFC (Near Field Communication) chip that is attached to the debit / credit card can be hacked via radio waves to capture the information stored in it. RF blockers to prevent such attacks Origin.

These jeans are designed by Betabrand Online Clothing Company. Silver material has been used to block the signal.

It will hit the market next February. Initially it will be used to make jeans and blazers. Jeans are priced at ১ 151 while blazers are priced at ৮ 198.

Earlier, the digital forensic firm ‘Disclab’ had created a wallet using similar technology. Disclab company chief Simon Staglas says hacking debit / credit cards has become commonplace. And that’s why we created the ‘Faraday’ bag which blocks mobile signals. These days, police use these bags to store criminals’ mobile devices.

A BBC report last month found that criminals had been able to remotely delete its data while their mobile phones were with police.

Clothing made of this type of metal fiber, although not cheap, can be washed.
