In September last year, Facebook offered Polish users the opportunity to post photos and videos with 24-hour durability, similar to the Snapchat Stories feature in Messenger. And now the world’s largest social media is exposing this feature to Messenger worldwide. All their other features are the same as the previous version.

To use the Messenger Day (or My Day) option, you can use Messenger’s built-in camera feature as usual to take pictures or capture videos. Take pictures and add text, doodles, cartoons or facial filters. You can then add the image or video to the ‘My Day’ section of Messenger which everyone or some friends can access (you can decide who gets access).

Messenger Day’s feature is that it is automatically deleted after 24 hours. The first feature on Snapchat was called ‘Stories’. Later, Facebook brought this feature to Instagram and WhatsApp. As you know, Instagram and WhatsApp are both owned by Facebook.

And now Facebook has taken this storage feature to Messenger as well Come on. The storage feature may also come in the main Facebook app.

Nowadays, it is very interesting that the use of text as well as images in messaging is very popular. While we’re not going to stop texting each other for sure, there’s no denying the success of Snapchat that users are no less interested in exchanging pictures than text. Let’s see how popular such a move is on Facebook.
