Facebook is launching a new feature called ‘Shared Photo Album’ which will allow multiple users to upload photos to a specific photo album. One when the feature is turned on Facebook Whenever a user creates a photo album, at the top left corner of the page you will find a new button labeled ‘Add Contributors’ option that allows other Facebookers to click to add photos to the album. The original owner of the album can add up to 50 contributors, each with access to upload a maximum of 200 photos. There will also be new privacy settings for these albums, which will be fixed by its creator. These can be shared with the community such as Public, Friends Only, Contributors Only.

Facebook The shared photo album is currently only available in the desktop version, and has been piloted on a select few English user accounts. Work is underway to remove the 200 photo upload limit in the future and launch a mobile version. However, no information has been released as to when it will be available to all.
