lumia-720Finnish mobile maker Nokia today announced four new handsets on the first day of the Mobile World Congress. Of these, two are Windows Phone 8 based Lumia smartphones and two are entry level handsets. The Nokia 105 and 301 are primarily for customers in developing economies and low budgets. The other two are also moderately priced. The 105 model set will be sold for only ২০ 20.

The main attraction at Nokia’s press conference today was the two new Lumia phones. The Lumia 720 is the most advanced. The other is Nokia 520.

The Windows Phone 8 based Lumia 620 has a 4.3-inch WVGA Super Sensitive Display, 1 GHz dual core processor, 512 MB RAM, 8 GB storage and a microSD card. It will be a device in the range between Nokia 720 and 720.

Although it is a medium priced set, its 7.6 megapixel camera can take great pictures. The Lumia 720’s 1.3 megapixel front camera is also capable of capturing HD quality images.

NFC is available for fast data exchange on Lumia 720 phones. Although it does not have a direct wireless charging feature, you can add a special back cover to support wireless charging if you wish. This smartphone is basically made with young people in mind. At least that’s what Unibody’s design, bright colors and affordable pricing suggest.

The Lumia 720 will be available in China and Asia later this quarter. The probable price is 341 US dollars.
